A) How to install ? - top

TO install the plugin , download the zip file from your account and follow below steps

  1. Upload the plugin folder `jag-vc-faq-addon` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the "Plugins -> Installed plugins -> Activate JAG Visual Composer FAQ Addon" menu in WordPress.
  3. That's it. Now you can find the FAQ's post type in wordpress menu.

B) How to add FAQ ? - top

Once you sucessfully install & activate the plugin. You will be able to see FAQ's post type in wordpress backend menu, like shown in screenshot below.

  1. Simply click on add new.
  2. Add faq title, faq description

C) How to display FAQ's using visual composer ? - top

To display faq's :

  1. Create a page called FAQ's or give whatever name you like
  2. Now add new element using visual composer.
  3. As shown in screen-shot below, Add the JAG FAQ's element.

  4. After adding the element. You can see various options to select.

  5. You can select any of 6 pre-define themes, order & orderby parameters for faq's
  6. You can Select FAQ Category. (Default All categories)
  7. Sequence Type: Icon(Default)/Number
  8. Open and close FAQ Icon and icon alignment
  9. You can select FAQ Default state: All Close (Default), All Open, First Open
  10. You can select base color for selected theme.
  11. You can select Multiple colors by enable multi color options
  12. You can select font size and color for heading and body text Note: For font size don't add px or pt. Add only font size. For e.g 16, 20
  13. You can add custom class
  14. That's it save element & page. You can sees FAQ's listed on your faq page.

D) Feature list - top

  1. Choose from various 6 themes.
  2. Unlimited color options.
  3. Random colors options.
  4. Sequence type (Number or Icon)
  5. Select FAQ Icons and icon alignment
  6. Display FAQ's with following orderby parameter : NAME, ID, TITLE, DATE , MODIFIED, RANDOM ORDER & MENU ORDER.
  7. Option to Change FAQ title color and font size.
  8. Option to Change FAQ Body color and font size.
  9. Can add Woocommerce Product FAQ's Note: To add FAQ's for products or any custom post type make sure you have enable Visual composer editor from visual composer settings (VISUAL COMPOSER > ROLE MANAGER > SET POST TYPE TO CUSTOM > SELECT POST TYPE > SAVE)
